Grif is a 23-year veteran of Law Enforcement, beginning his Law Enforcement Career with Cook County Sheriff’s office in the Jail. Grif transferred to a large Chicago suburban agency where he spent his career in Patrol, Special Operations, SWAT and K9. In conjunction with his Law Enforcement career, Grif served 27 years in the United States Marine Corps Reserve with various overseas deployments to include Iraq, Africa, South America, and the Caribbean theaters while assigned to the Artillery, Infantry and Special Operations community. Grif also spent time in Indonesia and Puerto Rico with small contingents of private security operatives.  

Grif now works for a large Explosive Detection Canine Security Company where he has served as a Canine Handler, Supervisor and is currently assigned as a Regional Canine Trainer assigned to the Midwest Region. He recently served on a Canine Team security assignment in London, England.  

Grif has dedicated himself to assisting Military Veterans and Police Officers receive nontraditional treatments after witnessing and experiencing the failure of The Veterans Administration and Police Departments to assist their members with treatment of TBI and PTSD.
